We re-grade all the clefts when they arrive at our workshop and only the very best timber is used for our top of the range bats (Inspire, Venom and Marlin) these offer the most amount of ping and the very best performance. However if your budget doesn't stretch to the top end, our Platinum and Clubmax bats are also made from Grade A English willow and handcrafted in the same way, they can be a fantastic choice for your first custom made bat.
If you need help deciding on the right size, please refer to our size guide.
No, the bats are pressed but the knocking in process is best done by the player that will use the bat, this will ensure that the right amount of spring is kept in the timber to suit their strength. A ball on a stick is the best method for this.
Cricket bats are made from Willow and if they are well maintained and looked after it can prolong the life of the bat. Please read our Bat Care Guide for more information.
